A Hidden Gem in the Marais

Parcelles Restaurant (3rd Arrondissement)

Parcelles is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. You may not find it unless someone tells you about it. I certainly didn’t. But thanks to one of my foodie friends, who lives in Paris, she suggested it for lunch one day, I am now blissfully enlightened. This charming little restaurant is hidden on a side street in the heart of the Marais. Inside you will find a culinary oasis where you are invited to savor every bite of French gastronomy. From classic dishes to innovative creations inspired by local markets, every menu item is absolutely delicious.

The ambiance is phenomenal. A quintessential French bistro. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. The menu starts off with items like Sicilian green olives, white asparagus with hazelnuts or fresh oysters on the half shell. It all depends on what is fresh and in season. Main dishes include things like charred poulpe (octopus) and asparagus on a garlicky puree with coriander and fresh peas. There are several other mains like Gnocchi and Risotto. For dessert you can choose between house made vanilla flan, a chocolate tart with caramelized pecans or one of their assorted sorbets.

The crowd here is mainly locals. Business lunches or people just getting together to catch up over some really amazing food. Add this quaint hidden gem to your Paris travel plans for an unforgettable dining experience.
